Hi, I’m Peta Leitermann-Long.

I am a dedicated educator and lifelong learner with a passion for productivity, mentoring, advising, and motivation. With a PhD in Mass Communications from Syracuse University's renowned Newhouse School, I have built a robust academic and professional foundation.

Originally from Jamaica, I bring a rich cultural perspective to my work. My academic journey includes an MA in Pan African Studies and a double-major BA in Media and Communications, and Philosophy. I have also earned certificates in Conflict Management, Public Relations, Advertising Management, University Teaching, and Online Teaching.

For over a decade, I have been teaching in higher education, primarily in the Humanities and Social Sciences. My experience includes delivering hundreds of presentations and workshops, reflecting my commitment to effective communication and knowledge sharing. As a trained facilitator, I thrive in creating engaging and inclusive learning environments.

I am also neurodivergent, which enriches my approach to teaching and learning. I believe in the power of diverse perspectives and am passionate about fostering an inclusive and supportive space for all.

Beyond my professional life, I am a proud mother of three wonderful children and a loving wife. My family inspires and motivates me.

This website is my creative outlet, where I share insights and resources on productivity, mentoring, advising, and self-motivation. I aim to inspire and support others on their personal and professional growth journeys.

Thank you for visiting, and I look forward to connecting with you
